I went back to work on Wednesday, following the New Years holiday. It wasn’t as tough to get back as I thought but I’m definitely glad that it was an abbreviated week. The folks at Nextpoint were great about letting me stay out for a full two weeks (6 work days since there were so many holidays in there). I do have to say: it was needed. At the one week marker I was thinking about what it would have been like to go back and we just really wouldn’t have been ready for it.

Henry is doing great. He’s got his weight up (8lbs 2oz) after the initial (expected) dip and is on his way. We’ve had lots of great visits and are expecting a few more this weekend.
