Battle Of The Surfaces

This was just pointed out to me the other day (thanks Hobber) but apparently happened a bit ago. A mixed court – half grass and half clay – constructed for a match between Federer (the king of grass) and Nidal (the king of clay).

Nidal narrowly edged out Federer in the end but a pretty cool concept.

    Amazing. Interesting that Federer lost. I didn’t think he ever did that.

    How can we relate this to our jobs? You with your technology on one side of the net and me with my dry erase board and 29 sixth graders on the other? How about if the 6th graders are allowed to switch sides?

    Very cool. Just the picture of the court is cool.

    Nidal = Nadal

    I read about the match after seeing your blog. The trophy was a replica of the court and the players had extra time between games to switch shoes!

    Hey, I heard you are going to Israel? Sounds fun. Keep us posted!
